duplicate_contWordprress 2.7 has included comment pagination, something very necessary when we have more than 30 comments on a post and the page grows and grows down, making it impossible or very awkward the navigation. The problem with this, is that we are creating many pages with the same content, with the same title and with the same metadata, something that does not like Google’s Webmaster Tools and shows many pages with the same titles and repeated descriptions.

I use, like many people, the plugin All in One SEO Pack to solve the SEO issues on the blog, which shows the page number on certain occasions, but not in the comments pages, because they are using another variable.

Therefore, I have changed a little the plugin All in One SEO Pack to display on the title of each comment page the page number, and also at the end of the meta description, so that Google does not detect the pages of comments from a post as duplicates.

There is also a plugin that displays a summary of the article in the comments pages, and could be used to complement the change that I made, but I’m not sure it’s the most successful and we will be creating a new duplicate content in these pages.

You can download the plugin All In One Seo Pack modified and replace the original without any complication (is version 1.4.6.15).
